From 1988 to 2009, Mark Eisen built a global fashion brand. His labels were showcased in over 800 retail stores in 18 countries and on the runways at the fashion weeks in New York and Milan. Eisen's brands had strong international presence with over 3000 editorial pages in magazines and newspapers, including American, Italian, British, German, Japan and French Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Wallpaper, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. His runway collections were also regularly covered by CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, and the BBC.
Eisen, a minimalist at heart, believed in the realism and functionality of clothing. A refined tailor and master knit specialist, he had a history of combining technical advancements with luxury, detail and practicality. His clothes were coveted by fashion insiders, models, musicians, and celebrities the world over. First elected in 1993, Eisen remains an active and voting member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
